We, Showa Denko HD Trace Corp. (“SHDT”), commit to act on the business ethics, good faith and according to SDK group’s “Our Code of Conduct”, have established our Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) Policy and Ethics Policy.
SHDT’s employees, supervisors, mangers or representatives SHALL be incorruptible and restrained himself/herself while carrying out his/her duty. He/she SHALL NOT provide or ask any improper benefit and SHALL NOT directly or indirectly provide or ask for any kinds of benefit, entertainment, kickback, bribe, illegal payment, corruption, interest conflict or any other gifts.

Non-Use the Conflict Minerals

Responsible Sourcing of Minerals: Participants shall adopt a policy and exercise due diligence on the source and chain of custody of the tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold in the products they manufacture to reasonably assure that they are sourced in a way consistent with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas or an equivalent and recognized due diligence framework.

Environment Management Substances(Prohibited/Controlled Substances)

The main purpose of the RoHS directive is to protect human health and the environment by restricting the hazardous substances in electrical & electronic equipment and ensuring that electronic wastes are reasonably recycled and disposed of.

Requirements on management of Hazardous Substances

The chemicals used by our company are controlled and regulated through such procedures including changes management, risk assessments, and environment impacts identification to reduce the hazards to personnel and environment and fulfill our corporate social responsibility.Therefore any chemicals entering our facilities are required to be provided the statutory formats of Material Safety Data-Sheets (SDS).
